LOCATION

The Lone Pine Ranch is located in the Lone Pine valley just north of the Central Oregon town of Redmond. A fifteen minute drive from town makes it convenient for shopping and restaurants, as well as access to the regional air port located in Redmond. Views and landscape in the Lone Pine valley are spectacular, with rock formations, irrigated fields and rim rock features.

ACREAGE

The approximate 481 acres are divided up by several fields of grass hay and alfalfa, pivot and wheel lines are in use for the irrigation with some small areas of dry land grasses, junipers and sage brush. Bordering the ranch on the BLM land are natural caves and rock feature to explore. The acreage is mostly flat with some areas of gentle sloping. The water rights are approximately 396 +/- acres.

IMPROVEMNTS

The main house is approximately 4,000 square feet built out of log, it is the foundation of this working ranch. Two manufactured homes for ranch manager and hired help complete the living areas. A large equipment shed, shop and hay shed complete the improvements on the ranch.

RANCHING OPERATION

A local farmer currently leases the hay ground and handles the cutting and bailing of the hay. The grazing permit is for a 200 unit allotment at a very minimal price of $2.50 per unit, this is very affordable feed for the summer grazing, May through October.
