LOCATION

This ranch is ideally situated 12 miles north of Powell, and 36 miles from historic Cody, Wyoming. Billings, Montana is located just 85 miles north.

Water is released from the reservoir into the Shoshone River where it is diverted into the Garland Canal east of Cody, WY. Water is transported in the Garland and Frannie Canals to the DID. These canals are shared until the Frannie Canal crosses the boundary between the Shoshone & Deaver Irrigation Districts north and east of Powell, WY. DID provides water to its agricultural users within the Frannie Division of the Shoshone Project. (Source Deaver Irrigation District, Master Plan Update Level I Study). Current owner recommends at 35 pairs annually.
