WILDLIFE AND RECREATION
The Big Horn Basin Farm and Feedlot Facility is minutes from the Big Horn Lake. According to the Wyoming Office of Tourism, “Bighorn Lake extends approximately 71 miles through Wyoming and Montana, 55 miles of which are held within spectacular Bighorn Canyon. The lake gives boaters a chance to see the colorful canyon walls up close with either a motorized or non-motorized vessel. Bighorn Lake can be accessed by watersport enthusiasts at Horseshoe Bend Marina near Lovell, Wyoming” The bighorn River is an internationally recognized blue-ribbon trout fishery. The reservoir is home to Brown and Rainbow Trout, Walleye and Sauger.

The farm is currently operated as a winter feed unit, complete with three small feedlot facilities and cattle drinking units each with frost free drinkers. The current owner is wintering 500+ head for 8+ months.
Fosters Gulch runs throughout the property providing an excellent watering resource. The irrigation water is provided by Globe Canal and Fosters Gulch, both excellent water rights which alleviates any concern for lack of water.
