Morton, Texas is the county seat of Cochran County. Located about an hour west of Lubbock, Texas, this agriculture area is known for farming and ranching. The community has approximately 2000 residents and all of the businesses tied to the ag sector. Lubbock is a thriving area with a large medical community, multiple banking options, entertainment, shopping, and Texas Tech University.
