Kehoe Farms is located 10 mines south of Texline, Texas, along FM 296. Texline, Texas is in the far northwest corner of the Texas Panhandle and is a small farming and ranching community with many years of crop and beef production. Dalhart, Texas is located southeast on state highway 87 approximately 36 miles from the farm and is the regions main trade center. Known as the XIT City, this is a major agricultural trade area and also two major roadways crisscross the panhandle helping to tie trade routes across this part of the country.
The property consists of roughly 1,021 acres under pivot. There are nine valley sprinkler systems and one additional sprinkler scattered across the property. The farm has mainly been utilized as a beef cattle facility. Ample watering locations are evidenced by five windmills and watering tanks across the farm. Exterior fencing is in good shape and the farm is split into two parcels with the north side having some corn applications and the south side being mainly winter wheat. There are also eight irrigation wells servicing the sprinkler systems which pull water from the Ogallala Aquifer.
