LOCATION AND AREA

The property is located between Glenwood Springs and Carbondale, Colorado, off of Highway 82 just 33 miles northwest of Aspen, Colorado. At an elevation of 6,180+/- feet above sea level, this area is characterized by an average of 295 days of sunshine, low humidity, mild winters and comfortable summers. Although the ranch is located near the town of Carbondale with a population of 6,500, it is also part of the Roaring Fork Valley. The Roaring Fork Valley is a geographical region in western Colorado defined by the valley of the Roaring Fork River and its tributaries, including the Crystal River and the Frying pan River. The Roaring Fork Valley includes the communities of Glenwood Springs, Carbondale, Basalt, Snowmass Village, and Aspen.

The Roaring Fork Valley offers casual and fine dining, creative arts and entertainment, and intriguing historical areas. There is plenty to do including hiking, biking, golfing, kayaking, rafting, cross-country skiing and downhill skiing.
