New Mexico is widely recognized as one of the top film production destinations in the U.S., offering a 25% to 35% refundable tax credit on qualified in-state expenditures. CLIMATE & WEATHER
The area has a moderate four-season climate offering a variety of visits to The Ranch throughout the year. Characterized by warm summers, dry and temperate spring and fall weather and cool winters.
The weather is described as sunny, dry and pleasant with summer daytime high temperatures around 80 degrees and overnight lows in the 60’s. Winter daytime temperatures range from 40 to 50 degrees with overnight lows around 30 degrees. The area receives about 9 inches of rain and 20 inches of snow per year. The summer “monsoon” flows provide most of the summer moisture in July and August.
