The Lauing Farm is conveniently located in Fall River County near Oral, South Dakota, approximately 6.2 miles east of Oral, 22 miles east of Hot Springs, and 59 miles south of Rapid City. The western half of the pivot is planted in Roundup Ready alfalfa, while the eastern half consists of an alfalfa and orchard grass mix. An additional 40± acres are flood irrigated using gated pipe. The northwest portion of the property features approximately 23± acres of scenic, deep canyon terrain with a year-round spring-fed creek, complemented by Russian olive, Chinese elm and cottonwood trees, along with plum and chokecherry bushes.
